Hapū points 2026 competition

Each Hapū competes throughout the year in a variety of events to collect Hapū points, at the end of the year the winning Hapu is awarded the highly coveted Rainey’s Log (Trophy). The inter-hapū competition, is named in memory of Sam Rainey, a former Outdoor Education and Geography teacher at Westland High School who died in a kayak accident in Norway.
