Our Year 7–10 students have just completed their Cultural Food Festival, proudly supported by Te Tai O Poutini West Coast Multicultural Council. The first group kicked things off on Monday, 24 November, followed by Groups 2–4 running their festival days last week from Wednesday to Friday. Students invited their whānau to join the celebrations, and it was wonderful to see staff, teachers, and classmates come together during morning tea to support them.

Each group shared delicious dishes representing their cultural heritage or connections—everything from Māori frybread to South African vetkoek and more! It was a fantastic way for our learners to celebrate identity, learn from one another, and showcase the rich diversity of our school community.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to tautoko our students. What an awesome celebration of culture, community, and kai!
