Dress Code (Uniform)

The Westland High School uniform enhances unity in our school and gives a sense of belonging.

Westland High School has a uniform for all students informal and formal options to cater for different occasions and seasons. There are no seasonal restrictions on the wearing of summer and winter uniforms. Our focus is for the uniform to be flexible, practical and affordable.

Students are expected to take pride in their uniform and wear it as required. Uniforms are to be worn at school, when travelling to and from school, and at school events as appropriate. The appearance of students is expected to be a credit to the school at all times.

As a uniform school all students are required to wear correct uniform at all times and have the option of choosing which gender uniform to wear. Uniforms must be purchased from an approved provider to ensure correct uniforms are worn.

Uniforms can be purchased through the online store at the Warehouse (use The Warehouse website search bar to search for School’s, then select Schooltex and Westland High School) or through the school. If you would like to purchase through the school or check sizing, please book an appointment through uniform@westlandhigh.school.nz or 03 755 6169.

School order forms can be found on the school website (by Christmas 2018). If you wish to purchase directly through the online Warehouse shop please follow the link.
