Canned food drive

23 Oct

What a fantastic response we had for our non uniform day.

Our annual Non-uniform canned food drive has been a great success! With just a little shy of 400 canned food items collected to help stock the shelves at our local Food bank, Kai Puku, before Christmas. A fantastic effort from everyone.

Christmas can be a stressful time for families and we wanted to help fill the food bank in the hope to make Christmas a little easier for Hokitika whanau.

Thank you to everyone who contributed. We were so happy with the response from everyone.

You can still support the Food bank at home too! Local support services usually run their annual Food Drive in December. You can help by having your non perishable food items ready to donate when they drive past.
