Manaakitanga in the whare

27 Mar

Students in the Te Reo/English biliingual unit have welcomed our international students and share a lunch each Wednesday.

Sharing kai is a wonderful way to spend time with each other and to bring students into a situation where they can get to know one another in a relaxed environment.

A huge thank you to Whaea Christine for all the mahi she does and for being so wonderfully inclusive. Thanks also to Kete Kai for supplying some of the wonderful treats for the students to enjoy.

He aha te mea nui?Māku e kii atu, he tāngata, he tāngata, he tāngata.

What is the most important thing in the world? Well, let me tell you, it is people, it is people, it is people.
