Awards Assembly
Today (Friday 9th July) we had our end of term awards assembly.
We had a number of awards for sporting achievements and values badges awarded at today's assembly. Our awards assemblies are to acknowledge and awhi those students who have excelled and exemplify high performance within the school.
We also had a presentation from some of the students in J Te reo (bilingual class) to Robbie Barrow, a representative for the West Coast Special Olympic team, of which we have four WHS alumni in. You can read more about the Special Olympic team in this newsletter. Je Te reo presented the team with a cheque for $300.00 they had fundraised by selling cup cakes and a sausage sizzle.
