Level 2 History

Pre-requisites:

Either 12 credits in NCEA English or Level 1 History or by negotiation with Mr. Ross Wickett

Course description:

From Lenin, to Hitler, to Uncle Ho, this course explores the inner workings of some of history’s most infamous characters through the themes of Government and Political Change and the Emergence of New Nations. The Russian Revolution and Nazi Germany are studied in the first theme and the Vietnam War is covered in the second. All three topics look at the more radical political ideologies of communism and fascism and the role they played in the histories of Russia, Germany and Vietnam.
