Level 3 Music

Pre-requisites:

Level 2 music achievement standards 91270, 91272 (these are the practical standards – group and solo)

Course description:

In Level Three music, students work towards a range of achievement standard based tasks that allow them to test and hone their practical music skills primarily through writing and performing music.

Credits available:

AS91416         Perform two programmes of music as a featured soloist 8

AS91418         Demonstrate ensemble skills by performing two substantial pieces as a member of a group 4

AS91425         Research a music topic 6

An external standard is an option by negotiation with Dr Shawcross (for students wishing to pursue endorsement)
