Level 2 Physical Education
Pre-requisites:
The student must have achieved 10 credits at least at Level 1 PE, including AS1.2.
Course description:
This course builds on last years work and aims to increase your knowledge of the significance of physical activity in our lives, our community and country. This course is on average 75% theory.
Topics covered:
– Movement analysis, biomechanics and physiology
– Improving well-being, improving performance
– Turbo touch, volleyball and fitness training
– Leadership, communication and reflection
– Get up and Go – planning and implementing a physical activity
