Athletics 2020

The Westland High School 2020 Athletics day was another resounding success.

Thanks to Miss Bateup’s PE department team, our school athletics was another great day full of fun, sporting spirit and whanaungatanga. Well done to everyone who participated and cheered their peers on. Thank you to all the parents and whanau who came to support the students it is always appreciated by not only your own tamariki, but also the other students involved on the day. For many students it takes a lot of courage to participate and so we applaud those students who stepped up and gave it a go.

Congratulations to our students who made it through to represent us at the West Coast Secondary School (WCSS) athletics this week. Good luck, we wish you all the best.

To have qualified to go through to the WCSS athletics the competitor must have qualified for 2 or more events.
