Christchurch Memorial Tree planting

The Head students and Mr Murray attended the Christchurch memorial tree planting on the cycle trail.

On Sunday the head students and Mr Murray attended the Christchurch Memorial tree planting, organised by the Lions Club of Hokitika and run in conjunction with a number of other organisations. A tree was planted on the Kaniere Road cycle way for every life that was lost. The students helped to plant a tree donated by our school's international department and they laid a wreath on that tree. 

We are thankful for the many local organisations in our community that care enough to organise such events, helping us to demonstrate our school values of whanaungatanga and manaakitanga.
