The Summer Learning Journey is a free, blogging programme available to all Year 4-10 students attending schools in the Toki Pounamu cluster. The theme for the programme this year is a ‘Journey Through Time.’

To participate, students log onto the Sumer Learning Journey programme website, click on the Register tab and enter their details. They are then invited to explore the website and to choose from one of 60 activities found on the Weekly Activities tab. To complete the activities the students post their answer on their school-sponsored blog site.

Our programme staff will read all of the student’s blogs and post personalised, supportive and educational comments for each student. We will also actively monitor the sites of all participants over the six week holiday period and evaluate both the implementation and impact of the programme for your cluster at the end of the summer.

The programme team will visit the cluster personally in 2018 to share the results of the programme and answer any questions that you may have. We will also provide you with an electronic report of the results.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.
