School Uniform

Print

The Westland High School uniform enhances unity in our school and gives a sense of belonging.

WHS Students in school uniform

The school uniform is compulsory for all Year 7–12 students. Mufti is an option for students after their twelfth year. There are no seasonal restrictions on the wearing of the summer and winter uniforms. Our focus is for the students to wear their uniform with pride and that the uniform be flexible, practical and affordable.

The appearance of students is expected to be a credit to the school at all times. Hair must be clean and tidy, and kept clear of the face. (If required for health and safety reasons, hair must be tied back.) Hair ties, any colour, and discreet ornaments may be worn.
