We receive three visits by groups per year - two from Thailand (in March and October) and one from Japan (July-August) ranging from 10-20 days per visit.
We welcome students who wish to spend their summer holidays living in New Zealand.
Westland High School is renowned for its outdoor education program, attracting students from all over the globe. In May 2011 we achieved the OutdoorsMark - safety audit. We celebrate the achievement and recognition of the excellence of our programme especially in relation to safety. The report concludes: “The transparent safety culture at Westland High School is to be commended”.
