In middle school pupils continue to follow a broad curriculum, with specialist teachers in almost all subjects. Students may select courses from a wide range of options in which they explore new ideas and ways of learning. Some options allow students to develop their own projects and to work collaboratively on these. Our philosophy is to give students a taste of a wide range of subject areas before there make choices about which areas they wish to pursue further. Extensive careers advice is given in the junior school to help ensure that sensible decisions are made.
